"The Strange Tale of Elizabeth Woodcock" reduction lino print by Lizzie Ault
Reduction lino print on paper, edition of 10
This image is based on a true story. Buried in the snow for 8 days, Elizabeth Woodcock survived and became a celebrity after her story was featured in the national press. She kept time by listening to the chiming of the Impington church bells and survived on melted snow and the contents of her hip flask.
This is a three layer reduction lino printed which means the lino plate was destroyed in the process of printing and no editions of this particular image can be printed again.
